Johnny Shines Music Festival 2024

The 13th Annual Johnny Shines Music Festival will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the McAbee Activity Center, located at 3801 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404.  Guests will be entertained by the musical stylings of Kent DuChaine, Debbie Bond, Blk Elvis, Carroline Shines & the Impulse Band, and the Cowbell Band!  Local students and instructors from the Alabama Blues Project will also take the stage along with Bougie Boogie Line Dancing.  Proceeds from this event will sponsor Johnny Shines Blues Scholarships to underprivileged children who want to learn to play musical instruments, particularly the guitar, as that was Johnny Shines’ instrument of choice.  Tickets are $45 for V.I.P. and $35 for general admission.  Children ages 10 and under are free.
